Creating a Healthcare System for All Our Children: The Prayer Tent for Children’s Health Care
Invite your faith community to reflect, pray and act for justice for children. Join other Christians in addressing the needs of the more than 9 million children without health insurance. Designed as a six-week program, the prayer tent and bulletin inserts create a space where family and friends can reflect on and discuss the need for a health care system that serves all our nation’s children.
Materials include a guide for using the Prayer Tent, bulletin inserts that expand on the lessons of the Prayer Tent, a letter for pastors, and a press release. Selected materials are available in English, Spanish and Vietnamese.
Using these materials will help promote short-term advocacy for children's health care and long-term advocacy for changing the system.
